Middle School Softball Powers Past the Mustangs

The Middle School softball team earned a big win against Mt. Vernon on Wednesday. The Lady Wolves jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first inning highlighted by Kendall Dettlinger’s two-out, two-run triple, followed by Lydie Barnett’s two-out, two-run single.  Wesleyan had a great defensive night all around led by Marjee Williams behind the plate and Barnett who pitched 5 innings for the win. Notably, Reagan McCoy made a diving catch at second base to end the game in the fifth inning.
