Two Wins for Middle School Baseball
Congratulations to the Middle School Baseball team who defeated Norcross and Dunwoody over the weekend. Against Norcross, Townes Hardy and Schley Gordy shared time on the mound combining to throw 5 strikeouts. Offensively, Dominick Scalese went 3-4 with 4 RBIs, while Gordy went 3-3 with 3 RBIs. In a close game with Dunwoody, pinch hitter Stacey Johnson provided the go ahead run in the bottom of the 6th, while Reed Purcell led the offense going 2-3 on the day. Tim Hillegass and Scalese provided strong pitching, throwing 5 strikeouts and only giving up 2 walks.
