Middle School Baseball Ends in a Draw

The Middle School Baseball team fought hard to come out with a 2-2 tie against St. Pius on Tuesday. Pitching was the foundation of the game with a strong outing by Reed Purcell and Dominick Scalese, combining to throw 8 innings with 9 strikeouts. Defensively, Tim Hillegass was impressive making numerous outstanding plays. The team was led offensively by Reed Purcell (3-4 with an RBI) and Owen Hodges (2-2 with a walk).
