Artists Named Finalists in All State Art Symposium
February 4, 2019
Sponsored by Georgia Art Education Association, the annual All-State Art Symposium is dedicated to promoting and recognizing the creative talents of high school students from Georgia’s school districts. Wesleyan had four students honored as finalists – seniors Stevie Crawford, Betsy McDaniel, and Trinity Russo, and junior Charlie Neu. This is a high honor, as there were over a thousand entries this year and only one hundred and forty works were accepted by the panel of esteemed judges. Wesleyan was able to secure 3% of the available finalist slots.
The finalists are invited to an all-day workshop on March 1st at Columbus State University which will culminate in an exhibition and awards ceremony. Join us in congratulating these high school students in their accomplishment!
