Refuge Coffee Truck Comes to Campus

October 31, 2018

Wesleyan School had the pleasure of welcoming the Refuge Coffee truck to campus on October 31st. On bringing Refuge Coffee to campus, High School bible teacher Matthew Means said, “We brought Refuge Coffee on campus to give our community a visible example of how God can use one person’s heart and vision, and something as simple as coffee to build the Kingdom of God.” This event followed the founder of Refuge Coffee, Kitty Murray, coming to campus on October 26th to speak about the Christian Life theme for October, “justice”.

For the event, students, faculty, and families were all able to order their favorite hot beverages from the coffee truck and enjoy fellowship with one another prior to school starting. The Omicron team also sold a range of breakfast foods including pastries, bananas, and chicken biscuits. All proceeds from the event went to support the ministry of Refuge Coffee.
