Wesleyan Faculty Volunteer at Lazarus Health Day

September 17, 2018

This year Wesleyan Faculty members volunteered at Lazarus Health Day. Lazarus is an Atlanta based non-profit that exists to serve the marginalized through restoring dignity and fostering relationships. At Heath Day, our brothers and sisters in the homeless community are provided with assistance to basic health needs.

Lazarus Health Day would not be able to happen without the help from both the Wesleyan Mini Busses and Wesleyan Faculty drivers. Four of our faculty members: Greg Lisson, Megan Trotter, Kali Sessions, and Laura Siron transported attendees to and from Health Day’s location in Midtown. Each of these faculty members joyfully spent their entire Sunday navigating Midtown traffic in the rain, bringing Christ’s kingdom through a simple act of service.
