Megan Gallagher Receives Jepson Scholarship

 

The college advising office is pleased to announce that Megan Gallagher is the recipient of the Jepson Scholarship at the University of Richmond, where Megan will matriculate in the fall.  The Jepson Scholarship, a $40,000 value, is a program created by Robert and Alice Jepson to encourage bright young students to continue their education at institutions of their choice.  With this scholarship, the hope is that these young students, with the gift of life and a superior education, will make the most of life’s journey. In addition to the Jepson Scholarship, Megan received a $5,000 scholarship from the University of Richmond.

 

A four-year varsity softball player, Megan was an integral part of the team’s capturing of its first state title. She has also been a Wesleyan Ambassador and a part of Hand-in-Hand, SALSA, and the prom committee. Please join us in congratulating Megan and her parents, Michelle and Keith.
