Josh Payne Accepted into Materials of Science and Engineering Scholars Program at Georgia Tech

The College Advising Office congratulates Josh Payne on his acceptance into the Materials of Science and Engineering (MSE) Scholars program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Over the course of four years, the MSE program provides $52,000 in scholarships and paid summer research project positions which also provide real-life work experience in the field. The MSE program “seeks scholars who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, career commitment, motivation, leadership potential and extracurricular activities,” and it utilizes a competitive application and interview process. In addition to his strong academics, Josh has been a leader on the Wesleyan football and baseball teams for the past four years and is an avid fisherman who has been named a Top 6 state qualifier. Congratulations to Josh and his family!
