Fine Arts at Wesleyan
Wesleyan believes that fine arts provide an effective teaching tool to foster creativity, problem solving, discipline, and confidence to complement the education of the whole child. The arts also serve as an important vehicle to convey social and multi-cultural messages.
In both lower and middle school, various art disciplines are part of the academic curriculum for every student. High school students are offered expanded programs in all areas of fine arts on an elective basis. After school, numerous fine arts opportunities are available for all grade levels including marching band, chorus, dance, and theater.
