Applying to Grades 6-12

Wesleyan aims to prepare students for the next step in their academic journey. For your convenience, we have listed all required materials on this page. First round Applications for the 2024-2025 school year are now closed. Application Requirements

List of 7 items.

  • Online Application

    Submit an online application, along with the nonrefundable $90 application fee, by January 24, 2024. A recent photo must be attached with the online application.
  • Current School Records

    Wesleyan requires a copy of your student's complete transcript (this includes the most recent report card and final report cards for two years prior; standardized tests scores should also be included).
  • Interview

    Students are required to attend an on-campus interview.

    After you submit the online application, you will be contacted by the admissions staff to schedule the interview.

    The interview process lasts approximately 30 minutes and will take place on one of the dates listed below:

    • Jan. 20, 2024
    • Jan. 27, 2024
    • Feb. 3, 2024
  • Teacher Evaluation

    Your child's current math and English teachers are required to each complete a Teacher Evaluation. Teacher Evaluation forms are available on Ravenna as a part of the online application.
  • Extracurricular Evaluation

    Each child has the opportunity to impact the Wesleyan community with his or her extracurricular interests and talents. We require that an extracurricular representative complete an evaluation. Forms are available on Ravenna as a part of the online application.
  • Secondary School Admissions Test


    Students are required to take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). More information about the SSAT and test registration may be obtained by visiting the SSAT website. The testing code for Wesleyan School is 8100. Feb. 9, 2024 is the deadline for test results to be received by the school.

    Students applying for grades 11 and 12 should only take the SSAT if they have not taken the PSAT during the current school year.
  • Birth Certificate

    Wesleyan requires a copy of your student's birth certificate.
