Assistant Head of School for Development

John Marshall
John joined the Wesleyan administration as Assistant Head of School for Development in July of 2017. John most recently served as Head of School at Mount Pisgah Christian School, a position he has previously held at Holland Hall School (Tulsa, Oklahoma) and Rabun Gap Nacoochee School (Rabun Gap, Georgia). Prior to those appointments, John has enjoyed a long and successful track record in school fund-raising as Director of Advancement at St. John’s School (Houston, Texas), Director of Development at Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School, and as Vice-President for Advancement and Director of Admissions at Darlington School (Rome, GA). Additionally, John also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Independent School Association. John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University as well as a Master’s in Education from the Klingenstein Teachers College at Columbia University.
