Wesleyan welcomes the community for the Middle School and High School Visual Arts Exhibit Opening

On April 3, Wesleyan welcomed the community for the Middle School and High School Visual Arts Exhibit Opening in Cole Hall.

From conceptual to technical, all types of curricular artwork is displayed and showcases what students learn in class.

AP art students showcase their work in a hallway that is considered their own “gallery.” Each student serves as a docent who answers questions and shares the meaning behind their art with the community.

“We always hear how impressive the student art is from our patrons,” beams Meagan Brooker, assistant director of fine arts. “As a whole, the quality of work is truly stunning. This year, I was personally impressed with the middle school art on display; there is so much budding talent coming through our classrooms!”

Thank you to the students, parents, and teachers who hung and labelled art, and our facilities team for setting up panels and tables to showcase all the amazing artwork!

Artwork will be on display until May 2 in Cole Hall. If you haven’t yet, make a plan to come observe this beautiful display!
