Varsity Boys Golf Update (3/21)
The Varsity Boys Golf team competed in two matches after spring break, having strong performances in both. On Monday (3/17), the Wolves competed in the Buford Best Ball Tournament at Lake Lanier and finished in third place out of sixteen teams. Ben Young and Jack Brewster combined to shoot one under par as the leading duo for the Wolves.
The team teed it up again Thursday afternoon against Fellowship Christian at Horseshoe Bend Country Club. The Wolves battled the cold, windy conditions and scored extremely well on a challenging day. Ben Brown came in as low medalist with a 35 followed by Brendan Wright's 38 to lead the Wolves to a sixteen shot victory (231-247). Ben Young, Jack Brewster, and Will Wazevich all turned in 39's as well.
