Students and faculty serve in Guatemala

Over spring break, students and faculty traveled abroad to serve on ten mission trips, and one group of students spent their spring break serving in Guatemala.

The Guatemala team served with Medical Missions Ministry in medical clinics set up in churches. The team served by shadowing and assisting a doctor or dentist, running the triage station, helping fill prescriptions, and praying over each patient who came to the clinic.

“Among the many patients our team prayed for several of our students got to pray with 17 people who chose to follow Jesus,” marvels Amy Barrett, high school counselor. “The team also saw God supernaturally heal several patients as they met with the doctors. Each of our students came home more connected to Jesus and grateful to have been invited to participate in the work he is doing in Guatemala.”

Thank you to all the students and faculty who served in Guatemala and beyond this spring break. Hear from the teams who traveled to the Dominican Republic, MexicoBelize, Costa Rica, and Poland, and stay tuned to read more about additional trips.
