Fourth grade students perform the annual Easter play

- Lower School
On Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 15, fourth grade students performed the Easter play for their peers, teachers, and parents.
Students blew the audience away as they recounted the beloved story of Jesus’s time on Earth, the miracles He performed, and finally His death on the cross and resurrection.
“One of the wonderful aspects of staging the Easter play each year is the uniqueness that is brought with each fourth grade class and how the play is shaped by the students’ distinct personalities and creativity,” explains Lisa McNearny, lower school music teacher. “The play serves as a remembrance of the holy and life-changing events it portrays, but it is also a special Wesleyan tradition that serves as a powerful link to the school’s heritage that’s been passed down through generations.”
The Easter play is a beautiful tradition that connects past, present, and future students in a shared experience.
Wonderful job, fourth grade students, and happy (early) Easter everyone!
