Ebony Lovett named Communications Co-Chair for SACAC Board of Directors

The College Advising Office is pleased to announce that Ebony Lovett, assistant director of college advising, has been named Communications Co-Chair for the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC) Board of Directors.

Ms. Lovett along with Director of Undergraduate Admissions at North Carolina A&T Dominique Harrison, will oversee the Communications Committee which publishes the SACAC blog, “Southern Scope”, the weekly email, “What’s Coming Wednesday,” as well as the SACAC job board.

Ms. Lovett has been volunteering with SACAC since she began college admissions in 2013. She has been involved with many committees over the years and was recently nominated to the board by Anita Hua from The Lovett School.

Part of Ms. Lovett’s duties as a board member includes attending the SACAC conference, which just occurred earlier in the month, along with the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) which will be held in September 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.
