Alum Carson Ballard '22 Selected to Wear #21 at Georgia Tech Honoring Jim Poole!
Congratulations to alum Carson Ballard, Class of 2022, on receiving a special honor this season! Carson, a redshirt junior pitcher at Georgia Tech, will wear #21 this season in honor of Jim Poole, a former Georgia Tech and MLB pitcher who passed away in 2023 from ALS.
This is an incredible tribute and a testament to Carson's character. We are so proud of you, Carson! They picked a tremendous person to carry on Jim Poole's legacy.
