Pre-first students explore Chattahoochee Nature Center with all five senses

On their wildlife discovery field trip, pre-first students and teachers visited the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Tuesday, and they investigated God’s creation with all five senses. They observed owls, bald eagles, box turtles, and beavers, and they listened and identified animals calls. Students used their sense of smell and touch to examine flowers and pelts from various animals, including deer, squirrels, and ducks. Though tasting was discouraged at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, students did enjoy a picnic lunch at a nearby playground.
