Alumni Spotlight: Chip Broun '04

On November 11, 2020, Wesleyan welcomed back Chip Broun ‘04 for a virtual Veteran’s Day Assembly. Broun is a graduate of the Naval Academy and current Commanding Officer for Recruiting Station Chicago in the United States Marine Corps. Previously, he was with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines in Camp Pendleton, California.

For the assembly, Broun spoke on the history of Veteran’s Day, its importance, and what it means to him. We also had a chance to catch up with Chip afterward to ask him a few questions about his time at Wesleyan and his service to our country.
