National Merit Scholarship Corporation Honors Six Wesleyan Seniors and Names One Semifinalist

The College Advising Office is pleased to announce that the National Merit Scholarship Corporation has recognized six Wesleyan seniors. Jacob Price was named a National Merit Semifinalist, an honor that only 1% of seniors (approximately 16,000 total) nationwide receive based on their PSAT scores. Jacob will now submit essays in the hopes of becoming a finalist and earning scholarship money. The finalists will be announced in February 2021.
In addition, Wesleyan has five National Merit Commended Students. Approximately 2% of seniors nationwide receive this recognition. Our Commended Students are Maximilian Allgaier, Katherine Graddy, Natalie Gross, Isabella Martin, and Maggie Simmons. Isabella Martin was also named as a Hispanic Scholar.

Congratulations to these students and their families!
