Wesleyan Donates 30 Laptops to Jungle Kids for Christ

Over the summer Wesleyan donated 30 of the decommissioned Lenovo tablets to Antioch Christian Academy through Jungle Kids for Christ.
Antioch Christian Academy is a school located in the Ecuadorian jungle in Misahualli. The school is on a completely virtual instructional model so some families were struggling to keep up. The school targeted the tablets to kids who were most at risk of falling behind because of technological hurdles and they have been a tremendous blessing to those families.

“Some of our students do not have internet access at all in their homes so they come to campus and with the laptops are able to connect to their classes and be present virtually every day with their classmates” Mission Team Coordinator, Tyler Foster said. “These laptops are a huge blessing to the ministry and are truly allowing us to accomplish the mission that Jesus set out before us of empowering children of the jungle for His glory!”
