Entire Community Invited to Annual Veterans Day Assembly
Next week, Wesleyan will host our annual Veteran’s Day program for middle and high school students. This year’s guest speaker will be Steve Hopper, a veteran of Vietnam.
Steve was recognized in the book “The Boys of 67” released in 2012. The book details the combat experience of Charlie Company while they served in Vietnam. Steve was also featured in the documentary “Brothers in War” produced by National Geographic in 2013.
Steve has been married for 52 years to his wife Jennifer and has two daughters and six grandchildren.
The entire Wesleyan community is invited to attend on Monday, November 11 at 9 a.m. in Yancey Gymnasium.
