Lower School Holds First Passport Club Customs Check

September 26, 2019

Lower School held their first Passport Club Customs Check for the school year on September 24.

Passport Club is Lower School's innovative self-study approach to geography. Students can set their own pace, studying anywhere from 5-25 countries each month. They are tested by volunteer "Customs Officials" and earn stamps in their passports, country flag pins, and world bucks that can be used at a "World Market", which will be held at the end of the year.

Returning students enjoyed returning to a new year of geography learning, and 1st grade students were especially excited to share their knowledge of continents. Several teachers, including lower school principal Jason Erb and art teacher Elizabeth Ables, also joined the testing fun.
