Middle School

5th-8th grade students flourish with both high expectations and high support

High Expectations and High Support

In an environment that both challenges and nurtures, Wesleyan students in 5th-8th grade grow in independence and confidence. They begin to define their own faith, take ownership of their learning, and explore new opportunities outside of the classroom. Enthusiastic educators seek to "meet each child where they are," know them by name, and support them as they identify their God-given strengths and talents.

In the Classroom

Middle school students at Wesleyan thrive academically because they are uniquely and appropriately challenged. The middle school curriculum is thoughtfully designed to include gender-specific math and English classes to bring out each child's giftedness. Courses in Bible, science, social sciences, and modern and classical languages continue to cultivate curiosity and develop a comprehensive, biblical worldview.

Elective courses in STEM, fine arts, life skills, and academic support ensure that every student can sample new interests and embrace opportunities for growth.
