Advanced Art (8)

This year-long course is designed for creative 8th grade students in visual arts who would like to further their skill through an advanced problem-solving studio approach. Students will learn new approaches to 2D and 3D multimedia while continuing to focus on effective use of the elements of art and principles of design. Art criticism, aesthetics, and art history will be discussed as it applies to more personal work.

Enrollment in this course is by recommendation only. Students must have taken art the previous year to be considered for recommendation.
