Advanced 3D Art
- High School (9th-12th)
This year-long course offers an in-depth study of three-dimensional artmaking, including additive, subtractive, and modeling processes, with an emphasis on mastering the pottery wheel and hand-building techniques. It also provides in-depth work with clay and clay building techniques, with a particular emphasis on wheel throwing and glaze effects. Students will work more independently on developing their personal style and aesthetics. This course is designed to help those who are interested in advanced creative study to develop a style and voice for their artwork.
Prerequisite: 3D design studio, or teacher recommendation and permission of department.
