Wesleyan purchases 12 acres of land and adds 163 parking spaces. 1,000 students K-12 enroll, and Wesleyan goes on the first mission trip.
In the fall of 2000, the school purchased 12 acres of adjacent land, which allowed the campus along Peachtree Parkway to be used for physical education, soccer, football, cross country, and lacrosse. In addition, 163 much-needed parking spaces for visitors and students were added to the campus. The 2000-2001 school year was also the first time over 1,000 students enrolled K-12 at Wesleyan. The first Wesleyan mission trip happened in 2,000, and the missions program continues today.
