Ramona Blankenship

Associate Head of School

Ramona Blankenship came to Wesleyan in 1997 to serve as a sixth grade math teacher. Since then, she has served as the sixth grade chair, middle school principal, and assistant head of school for academic affairs, and Blankenship now serves as the associate head of school. Originally from Canton, Ohio, she earned a bachelor of science in education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Georgia. Blankenship has also served students through leading Bible studies at Wesleyan. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, she taught fifth grade at Pace Academy. Married to Jim since 1996, they are the proud parents of Jimmy, Epris '01, and Lauren '03.
