Director of Development
Chad McDaniel joined Wesleyan in 2007 to serve as director of communications. In 2017, he moved into a new role as director of donor relations and was appointed as director of development in 2019. Originally from Macon, Georgia, he earned a bachelor of science in public administration from Samford University and a master of arts in teaching from Georgia College and State University. He is also involved at Wesleyan as head varsity cross country coach. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was the sports information director and head boys and girls cross country and track coach at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon. Married to Stephanie since 2000, they are the proud parents of Betsy '19, Stafford '22, and Ginny Kate '24.
