Dear Prospective Wolf Tracker,

Wolf Trackers is the booster club for all Wesleyan athletic teams.  Despite Wesleyan School’s relatively small size, Wesleyan has established a prominent athletic program – proving that academics and athletics are not mutually exclusive. In fact, in 2008 Sports Illustrated ranked Wesleyan’s athletics program #1 in Georgia and # 16 in the nation!

As you consider why you might join Wolf Trackers, take into account:

·     Wolf Trackers underwrites a significant portion of the athletic department’s
annual budget

·     Over 70% of our students participate in at least one sport and the
majority participate in multiple sports.

Wolf Trackers supports Wesleyan athletics many ways.  In addition to funding a portion of the athletic budget, our parent volunteers run and staff concessions. We purchase equipment for the athletic department; recent examples include a scoreboard for the lacrosse teams, a shooting apparatus for the basketball teams, and the stadium sound system. Wolf Trackers also publishes Wolves Illustrated, which is one of the highest quality sports programs anywhere. Published fall, winter & spring, Wolves Illustrated provides a great memento of your child’s middle & high school athletic experience as each edition features team photographs, rosters, season schedules, etc. Wolves Illustrated sells ad space where parents can congratulate their soon to be graduating senior; wish good luck to their child or promote a business or service.

How can you support Wesleyan athletics? Join Wolf Trackers; there are multiple membership levels available. Two new membership levels were added this year – Wolf Pup (lower school only) and Wolf Pack which provides joint top level membership in Arts Alliance and Wolf Trackers at a discounted price. Work concession stand duty – if your child plays a sport, each parent is expected to work concession duty once per season. Participate in our fundraisers such as the annual golf or tennis tourney. This year, Wolf Run moves to homecoming weekend so that alumni and their parents can reconnect with the Wesleyan community. Other support can be offered by placing an ad in Wolves Illustrated. This is where you can promote your business to Wesleyan families. You can also order new magazine subscriptions or renew existing subscriptions through our magazine sale.  Last, but not least, you can volunteer to help organize or work some of these events.

Through Wolf Trackers you can support Wesleyan athletics and provide resources that will enhance your child’s individual and team experience. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Wolf Trackers (kirven00@bellsouth.net ).

Go Wolves!
