"And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." Col.1:10
This Scripture was prayed for students during a recent Moms in Touch (MIT) Monday prayer time.
MIT is a wonderful group of women who pray corporately for Wesleyan an hour each week. Our group is part of thousands of MIT groups around the world praying for schools---for teachers, staff, students, and families.
MIT meets for prayer at 8:18am for approximately one hour each Monday that school is in session for a full day, in the Shropshire Commons room in Wesley Hall (across from the middle school office).
We open with words of praise and move to silent personal confession, then to thanksgiving and general intercession, and then, after splitting up into separate groups for the three schools, intercession for each of the groups of students, teachers and staff/administration. If you have a heart for praying for your children and our school or want to know more about how to pray for them, please join us. ALTHOUGH MOMS ARE FREE TO JOIN AS OFTEN AS SCHEDULES PERMIT, THOSE MOMS WHO ATTEND REGULARLY WILL TELL YOU THAT BLESSINGS OF FELLOWSHIP ABOUND TO A REGULAR ATTENDEE.
