Grandparents Day

In November of each school year, the Wesleyan Parents Club, in partner with the Development Office, sponsors Grandparents' Day. The grandparents or special friends of the students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth grade participate in this event.

Guests arrive around lunchtime and are treated to a program in both the lower school and the middle school which includes a welcome from the Administration and entertainment by the students (chorus, band, class productions, etc.). At the conclusion of the program, the grandparents or special friends are invited to visit their student’s classroom, meet the teachers and enjoy a time of fellowship with classmates and their guests.

The Wesleyan Parents Club provides important assistance in hosting this event by preparing and sending invitations, organizing the day, and greeting and helping to guide the visitors around campus.
