Wednesday, August 4, 2010 DIVING: This week offered more national success for the Wesleyan Aquatics program. Earlier this summer senior Zach Hernandez qualified for the USA Diving National Championships in Tucson, Arizona. This past weekend, Zach had the opportunity of diving against the best 16-18 year olds in the nation on 1 meter as well as 3 meter. Zach started off the weekend by barely missing the finals (the top 12) on the 3M finishing an impressive 15th (complete results). On the 1 meter board Zach finished 7^th in the entire nation (complete results). SWIMMING: Due to a successful performance at the Georgia Long Course Senior State Championships, Michael Reynolds was picked as one of 10 15-18 year old males to represent the state of Georgia on the Georgia Zone team. Michael kicked off the Southern Zone Championships (basically about 10 states in the South) by winning the 1500 M Freestyle as reported by Swimming world magazine. Complete results for the Southern Zone Championships (here). Michael also placed in the finals in the 400 M Free, 200 M Free, and the 200 M Fly (4^th, 5^th, and 6^th respectively).
Wednesday, June 9, 2010 Congratulations to Zach Hernandez and Lauren Hall for being named NISCA All-Americans. Zach was one of two boys from the state of GA and Lauren was one of eight. Bobby Chambless made All-American consideration. Full Story

Thursday, March 11, 2010 Chad Hall (’04), after a private tryout today in Philadelphia, has signed an NFL contract with Philadelphia and is now an Eagle. Friday, February 12, 2010 Congratulations to junior Zach Hernandez, 2010 State A-AAAA Dive Champion! Junior Bobby Chambless and Senior Tradd Cannon finished in 6^th and 13^th place respectively giving the boys a total of 37 points heading into next week’s state swim meet. Friday, February 12, 2010 Even Griffin Schamp’s baby pictures involve basketball. The senior may be about to graduate from the Wesleyan School, but his love of hoops started before he could speak. Friday, February 5, 2010 The Georgia Dugout Club has honored Wesleyan's Donn Gaebelein Field as the 2009 Class A Baseball Field of the Year. Gaebelein Field has hosted the state championship series three of the past four years and was honored in 2007 as National Field of the Year by Sports Turf Magazine.
