    Gardner Honored For Swimming and Diving Accomplishments

    Congratulations to Abby Gardner who was named the 1A-5A Swimmer of the Year by the Georgia High School Swim Coaches Association. Gardner won her 4th straight diving championship and earned points for Wesleyan in several swimming events at the state swim and dive meet this month.

    JV Wolves Top the Paladins

    The JV Boys Soccer team defeated Pinecrest at home on Thursday afternoon. Ryan Glazier had a great effort from distance to secure the lead. George Doane slotted a goal off of a one on one provided by Henry Beltrami for the second goal.

    Varsity Track and Field Wins Wesleyan Invitational

    The Varsity Track and Field team finished in 1st place at their home meet on Wednesday, defeating Blessed Trinity and Woodward. Congratulations to the following for their performances: David Thrower (1st, 800 meter), Peter Hess (1st, 3200 meter), Christopher Lee (1st, pole vault, new personal best), Jahni Kerr (1st, 100 meter), Karley Welch (1st, 400 meter), and Caroline Gross (1st, 800 meter).     The Varsity Girls Basketball team defeated George Walton at home on Wednesday to advance to the Elite 8 in the state playoffs. The Lady Wolves will face Prince Avenue on Tuesday at Wesleyan. See story here.

    MS Baseball Wins Season Opener Over Bears

    The Middle School Baseball team opened the season on Wednesday with a defeat of Holy Innocents'. After falling behind in the top of the first, Wyatt Hodges sparked the offense with a homerun over the left field fence. Led by pitchers James McCoy and Beau Brown, along with a solid team defensive effort, the Wolves held the Bears scoreless after the first inning.

    Andrews and Patriots to Face Hometown Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl

    On Sunday, David Andrews, class of 2011, will become the second Wesleyan alum to take part in a Super Bowl, following Chad Hall, class of 2004, who was a member of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.
