Wesleyan After School Dance
Dance is currently offered to students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade as an after-school arts program. Students will learn dance and movement fundamentals using a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance. A broad range of teaching activities will be used to encourage students to discover and appreciate the many ways they can express themselves through movement. Students will have the opportunity to use dance in school life by performing at events such as Grandparents Day, Fine Arts day and the Artist Market as well as participating in worship.

Wesleyan Choristers
The Wesleyan Choristers is a group of children from second, third and fourth grades. This is open to all children and is not auditioned. It gives them an opportunity for a group choral experience. They are featured in the all school programs and sing for different events held on campus, i.e. Artist Market, Grandparent’s Day. They rehearse once a week on Thursday afternoons from 3 to 4 in the lower school music room.
This year we are hoping to develop a boy’s choir from this group of children.
Third and Fourth Grade Tone Chime Choirs
We have two tone chime choirs, one comprised of third grade students and the other of fourth grade children. Children are not auditioned for these choirs. These groups give the children the experience of playing in an instrumental ensemble. They are featured in programs just as the Choristers are. They meet once a week on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 3 to 4.
Private Music Lessons
Private instruction in piano, voice, and guitar are offered in the lower school. Students may take lessons during the school day, before school and after school. Our private teachers are highly qualified musicians and are contracted from the outside. Fees are charged for this service. For more information, contact, Lisa McNearney at 678-223-2141.
