Zach Young - Headmaster Zach Young came to Wesleyan in 1996 to serve as Headmaster. Originally from Atlanta, GA, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Virginia and Master’s in Education from Harvard. Young also teaches eighth grade Bible and assists with the eighth grade boys Bible study. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was Vice President/Assistant Headmaster at Westminster Schools of Atlanta. Married to Studie Johnson Young since 1974, they are the proud parents of Mary Stuart born in 1981, Zachry born in 1983, and Townshend, born in 1990.

Chris Cleveland – Assistant Headmaster for External Affairs Chris Cleveland came to Wesleyan in 2002 to serve as middle school principal and became principal of the high school in 2004. Originally from Atlanta, GA, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Auburn University and a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. In past years, Cleveland was an assistant coach with the varsity boys’ basketball team at Wesleyan. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was the High School Principal at Providence Christian Academy in Lilburn, GA. Married to Julie Cleveland since 1991, they are the proud parents of Kyle, born in 2000 and Sam, born in 2003. Kyle and Sam are Wesleyan students. |

Kathleen A. Benson – Assistant Headmaster for Academic Affairs Kathy Benson came to Wesleyan in 1998 to serve as Mathematics Department Chair. The following year, she took on the role of Dean of Faculty, with an eventual title change to Assistant Headmaster for Academic Affairs. Originally from Yonkers, New York, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Mt. St. Vincent and a Master’s degree from Fordham University, both in Bronx, New York. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, she served in several private and public schools in New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin as a mathematics teacher. Before coming to Wesleyan, Kathy worked for 10 years at Marist School in Atlanta as a mathematics teacher and department chair. Married to Hal since 1969, they are the parents of Kim, Kara and Kirk and are the proud grandparents of Nathan, Mary, Emma and Claire.

Madison F. Cole, Jr. – Executive Assistant for Major Gifts Matt Cole came to Wesleyan in 1998 to teach history. In 1999, he added the role of Director of Development and in 2004 became Assistant Headmaster for Development. Originally from Newnan, GA, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was the treasurer of Norrell Corporation. Married to Sharon since 1974, they are the proud parents of Martha, born in 1983, and Lewis, born in 1988.

Brad Mauldin – Director of Christian Life Brad came to Wesleyan in 1999 to serve as a Spanish teacher. Originally from Atlanta he earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia. In his time at Wesleyan, he has also been involved with teaching history, assistant coach of cross country, head coach of boys' and girls' tennis, and coordinator of the missions and retreats programs at Wesleyan. He has been married to Gillian since 2005.

Andy Cook – Director of Admissions Andy Cook arrived at Wesleyan in 2003 to work as a freshman grade chair and Bible teacher. He took on the role of Assistant Director of Admissions in the fall of 2006 and began as Director of Admission in the summer of 2008. After growing up in Atlanta, Andy graduated from Washington & Lee University and earned a Master’s of Arts in Religion at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Andy has lead student Bible studies and mission trips, coached JV football and JV soccer and coordinated the high school chapel program. Andy and his wife, Martha, have four young children: Bobby, Thomas, Andrew and Sydney.

William J. Coxhead – Director of Business and Finance Billy Coxhead came to Wesleyan in 1997 to serve as the Director of Business and Finance. Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Davidson College and an Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. He is also the Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Wesleyan. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was Product Development Manager at PRIMUS Automotive Financial Services, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Corporation. He has been married to Lori Coxhead since 1988, they are the proud parents of Wesleyan students Darby, born in 1994, Cort, born in 1995, Beck, born in 1997, and Liam, born in 2000.

Sean Casey – High School Principal Sean Casey joined the Wesleyan faculty as High School Principal in 2010. Casey graduated from Trinity Pawling School in upstate New York, followed by a B.S. from Hobart College, an M.Ed. from Temple University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. For the past 17 years, Casey has been a member of the faculty and administration at Peddie School in Highstown, NJ where he most recently served as Director of Marketing and Communications, taught math and A.P. Psychology and coached the girls basketball to 14 consecutive state championships. He was named 2010 Naismith National High School Girl’s Basketball Coach of the Year and earned the 1996 Cum Laude Prize for Excellence in Teaching at Peddie. In his spare time, Casey enjoys running, reading, golf and spending time with his family. Along with wife Jill, he is the father of Taylor, Riley, Sean and R.J.. The Casey family are members of Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, NJ, and look forward to finding a church home in Atlanta.

Ramona Blankenship – Middle School Principal Ramona Blankenship came to Wesleyan in 1997 to serve as a 6th grade math teacher. Originally from Canton, Ohio she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s Degree of Educational Leadership from The University of Georgia. She is also involved with Bible studies at Wesleyan. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he/she taught 5th grade at Pace Academy. She has been married to Jim Blankenship since 1996 and they are the proud parents of Jimmy, Epris, and Lauren. Epris and Lauren are Wesleyan graduates.

Joy C. Wood – Lower School Principal Joy Wood came to Wesleyan in 2005 to serve as Lower School Principal. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millsaps College and a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, she was the Curriculum Director for kindergarten through 8th grade at Christ the King Catholic School in Atlanta. Married to Jim Wood since 1989, they are the proud parents of Melissa and Phillip.

Chad S. McDaniel – Director of Communications Chad McDaniel came to Wesleyan in 2007 to serve as Director of Communications. Originally from Macon, GA, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Samford University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College & State University. He is also involved at Wesleyan as head varsity boys track cross country coach. Prior to coming to Wesleyan, he was the Sports Information Director and head boys’ and girls’ cross country and track coach at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon. Married to Stephanie since 2000, they are the proud parents of Betsy, born in 2001, Stafford, born in 2003, and Ginny Kate, born in 2006. Betsy and Stafford are Wesleyan students.

Marc Khedouri – Athletic Director Marc Khedouri was appointed to the faculty in 2000. He served as Dean of Students from 2000-2009. Marc was appointed as Athletic Director at the end of 2009 school year. He brings a varied range of administrative and coaching experiences to the position. Marc holds a B.A. from Oglethorpe University and M.A. from Liberty University. Marc also teaches in the Bible Department. Prior to coming to Wesleyan Marc taught and coached at The Westminster Schools from 1987-2000, prior to that he worked in a public school and in a boarding school. Marc attends North Point Community Church.

Carol E. Horner – Director of Technology Carol Horner came to Wesleyan in 2005 to serve as the Technology Department Chair and to teach computer science. In 2006, she moved into the role of Director of Technology. Originally from New Paris, Pennsylvania, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lock Haven University and a Masters Degree from Covenant College. Before coming to Wesleyan, she was the Assistant Technology Director at Providence Christian Academy, in Lilburn, GA. Married to Randy since 1986, they are the proud parents of Bethany, born in 1993 and a current Wesleyan student.

Dr. John Peed – Director of Fine Arts John Peed came to Wesleyan as the Fine Arts Director in 2008. He graduated from Roswell High School in Roswell, New Mexico, and earned both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music from the University of Kansas. He then earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and a Doctor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. John and his wife are members of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville.
