Admissions Testing/Interview Information

Kindergarten through Grade 5

On-campus testing:  After the application has been received in the Admissions Office, students applying to grades K-5 will be contacted via email to schedule a date to take a Wesleyan admissions test.  This testing lasts anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 

     The testing dates are:  January 28  /  February 18  /  February 25

Off-campus testing:  The Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS) has established a Joint Admissions Testing Program (JATP) for students applying to Kindergarten through Grade 5. Read the JATP Testing Letter for more information and complete the JATP Brochure

 

Grades 6 through 12

On-campus interviewsWesleyan School interviews all students applying to Grades 6 through 12, after the application has been received in the Admissions Office.  All interviews will take place between 9:00am and 3:00pm on the Saturdays listed below.  Interviews will last approximately one hour.

Off-campus testing:   All students applying to Grades 6 through 9 are required to take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). More information about the SSAT, including test dates and locations, may be obtained by visiting their web page at www.ssat.org.  The testing code for Wesleyan School is 8100.

 

Grades 10-12

These students should take the SSAT ONLY if they have NOT taken the PSAT or SAT during the current year.
