Admissions Events

Experience Wesleyan!  The following events are available for you to learn about Wesleyan life.

Family Open House

January 21, 2012 - 1:00 to 3:30 PM, Yancey Gymnasium

Open House is a fmily event which provides an opportunity for you to get a feel for Wesleyan.  Cookies and hot chocolate are provided as well as interaction with the mascot, face painting, observation of science experiments, and more.  Wesleyan faculty members, student ambassadors, select arts groups and athletic teams, and coaches/directors will be present to provide insight into specific aspects of Wesleyan life.  The event begins with a 30 minutes presentation from the Headmaster and current students.  Next, families may tour the campus on their own or with a Wesleyan ambassador.

Neighborhood Parent Coffees

October 21 @ 9:30am - Dunwoody Baptist Church

Over 50% of Wesleyan parents live within 5 miles of the campus and another 30% live between 5 - 10 miles away.  These neighborhood coffees, some of which are held in our very own Wesleyan family's homes, serve to connect prospective families to current Wesleyan families who live nearby.  Come enjoy coffee, conversation, and hear a testimony from a Wesleyan parent.  The Admissions office brings Wesleyan to you!  If you would like to meet nearby Wesleyan families, reserve your place ASAP by emailing Sylvia Pryor @ spryor@wesleyanschool.org.

February 7, 2012 - 8:30-10:00am, Lencke Black Box Theater/Fine Arts Building

What’s life like for a Wesleyan student?  What does the leadership of the school really think? Is the Wesleyan classroom experience different?  Parents should come to answer these questions and pose their own to division principals.  The basic agenda is the Headmaster’s presentation, Q&A with the principal and student panel, and an observation of Wesleyan teaching.
